(Hospital Organization of Pedagogies in Europe)
1988 the 1st European Congress
of Education for children in hospitals took place in
Ljubljana (Slowenia) under the patronage of UNESCO and WHO. The
enthusiasm of this conference initiated further educational
interchange.
1992 the 2nd Congress took place in
Vienna / Austria.
As a consequence, the organisation “Hope” was
established.
Mutual goals:

a European congress every two years (October 2012 Amsterdam)

a general meeting every two years

a website (www.hospitalteachers.eu)
in several languages

promote the development of education in case of
illness
-
regular newsletters to inform all members about
the work and congresses of the European Association

keep or establish contact with partners in
Oceania, North- and Latin Amerika, North Africa and the Middle East

Effective Membership 15 Euro/year - Effective-Collective Membership 30 Euro/year
